NASHVILLE, TN – August 10, 2023 – LFM Capital, a private equity firm focused on lower middle market manufacturing and industrial services businesses, announced today that Weller Metalworks, a metal fabrication and precision machining platform, completed the acquisition of Laser Precision (“Laser”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1994, Laser Precision is a full-service metal fabricator that provides laser cutting, forming, finishing and powder coating services in addition to engineering and logistics capabilities for industrial equipment OEMs. Laser Precision is based in Libertyville, Illinois.

LFM Capital established Weller Metalworks (“Weller” or “the Platform”) to focus on offering complete lifecycle fabrication and machining solutions to OEM customers, from the early stages through production and end-of-life with a focus on integrated digital technologies. Weller recently added Muthig Industries to the platform as the inaugural acquisition.

Brian Yoder, Weller President and CEO, commented, “We are thrilled to complete the second acquisition on the Weller Metalworks platform. Laser Precision’s capabilities and high level of performance for their customers will be an asset to other companies on the Platform and will help us to achieve the broader objective of addressing customers’ diverse needs.”

Laser Precision Founder Jeff Adams noted, “It is a privilege to join LFM’s Weller Metalworks platform. We are proud of our team’s success in delivering quality parts to our customers with unmatched accuracy and timeliness, and we couldn’t be more excited to pursue this next stage of growth with the guidance and support of Brian and the LFM team.”
